The peace that is always present 

I use the Mind Detox Method (MDM) to help people get over problematic life events. For some, they’ve been experiencing extreme anger or sadness or fear for decades. For others, they’ve resisted life so much and for so long they’ve ended up with physical conditions. Yet, irrespective of how long something has been a problem for them, in a matter of minutes using the MDM they discover a way of thinking about the past that immediately stops it being a problem. And in doing so, they naturally feel more neutral or even positive towards the things that only a few moments prior was causing them intense negative feelings.

Witnessing this in literally hundreds of clients (and reading about it in the case studies of the MDM Practitioners I’ve trained and qualified) has lead me to questions how real problems actually are. I mean, if something is a problem for a person for years, and then, after a simple shift in viewpoint, no longer a problem, was it ever really a real problem in the first place? Or is the real problem the person not being able to view the past or future events from a problem-free perspective, yet?

One of my favorite quotes by Einstein is: “No problem can be solved with the same level of consciousness that created it”. I’ve observed that it is not what happened in life that’s the problem, but instead, people’s perceptions of what happens that determines whether something is a problem for them, or not. One person can lose their job and be thrilled at the adventure, another can become physically ill from the stress. What’s the difference? The life event is the same, but their perceptions of it are different.

And what‘s the main determinant of how a person perceives life events? In every case, it’s their beliefs. The good news is that beliefs can always be changed. Beliefs are nothing more than conclusions you’ve come to at some point in your life, based upon the limited information you had available at the time. And you can come to new conclusions anytime you want, with new information; in other words, with a shift in consciousness.

The Mind Detox Method helps people to discover the blind spots in their consciousness that are causing them illness and stress. It is never too late to have a happy childhood and you don’t need to worry about the future anymore. You don’t need to wait for anything to change about your life for you to experience more inner peace or enjoy life. When you change your mind, everything changes!
